Job description

Position Overview

The Lumber Assistant supports the daily operations of the Lumber Warehouse by

assisting with the preparation, staging, handling, and organization of raw materials

used in production. This role works closely with the Lumber Supervisor, Senior

Lumber Assistants, and other team members to ensure materials are accurately

prepared, inventoried, and delivered to production in a safe and efficient manner.

The Lumber Assistant plays a key role in maintaining organized inventory,

supporting production needs, and ensuring that reSAWNโ€™s material standards are

upheld.

General Requirements

โ€ข Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

โ€ข Ability to read and write English

โ€ข Understanding of basic math and measurement

โ€ข Ability to use a tape measure and other basic industry tools

โ€ข Ability to work well within a team environment

โ€ข Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs

โ€ข Ability to kneel, bend, twist, push, and perform physical tasks as required

โ€ข Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (i.e. 8 hours or more)

โ€ข Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse protocols
