SUMMARY
The primary purpose of a Plumber is to install, repair, and maintain the plumbing systems throughout all company properties; Knoebels Amusement Park, Knoebels Campground, Lake Glory Campground, cottages, and Nickle Plate Restaurant. SUMMARY
The primary purpose of a Plumber is to install, repair, and maintain the plumbing systems throughout all company properties; Knoebels Amusement Park, Knoebels Campground, Lake Glory Campground, cottages, and Nickle Plate Restaurant. This is a year-round position, reporting to the Director of Operations & Facilities.
Hours of operation for the summer are currently Sunday through Thursday from 12pm to 8pm and Friday through Saturday 12pm to 9pm. Shifts for this position may start before operational hours or end after operational hours with evening and weekend hours required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain restrooms, sinks, and showers.
- Troubleshoot and clear clogged drains, repair leaks, and address plumbing related issues.
- Service plumbing issues.
- Maintain creek and freshwater pumps.
- Maintain restroom grinder pumps.
- Responsible for repair of sensor faucets and toilets.
- Responsible for installing plumbing for all off-season project work.
- Ensuring all plumbing work is up to code and meets compliance and safety standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- An 18-month Plumbing Certificate program preferred.
- Both commercial and residential plumbing experience preferred.
- Basic carpentry and electrical knowledge preferred.
- Experience working with wells preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license.
