Our client is an a well-established, reputable law firm based in the Raleigh-Durham area with a great history and strong vision for the future.

This is a key role for this firm and their succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in developing and serving clients in some mix of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Equipment Leasing & Finance Litigation, Commercial Real Estate Disputes, Commercial Creditor Bankruptcy, or general Creditors' Rights
  • Worked in a private litigation practice with an understanding of, and prior responsibility for, managing the business aspects of a law practice
  • Demonstrated practice leadership ability, including in the supervision and development of associate attorneys and staff
  • NC Bar license in good standing
  • Strong legal analysis and writing skills
  • Strong courtroom and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work well with others in a team environment

Ideally, the candidate will have:

  • Dual licensed in NC and SC (or willingness to obtain SC licensure)
  • 7 or more years of litigation experience in federal, state, and/or bankruptcy courts
  • Preference for in-office work environment in a collegial culture
