We are seeking a full‑time Emergency Service Head Veterinarian (ERSH) who will work alongside our ER clinicians, specialists, and leadership team to ensure the highest quality medicine and services for pets and our community.

As a clinically practicing manager of the hospital’s ER clinician team, you will supervise the ER staff, manage day‑to‑day operations, handle scheduling, hiring, training, mentoring, and facilitate regular ER meetings while representing the team as a hospital leader. You will work diverse shifts and collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Requirements
  • DVM from accredited university required.
  • Successful completion of rotating internship or the BluePearl's EmERge program required.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience required.
  • Must possess valid applicable DVM licensure.
  • Demonstrated capacity to multitask and successfully manage competing priorities required.
  • Prior shift lead experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership ability with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated stress tolerance and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to mentor and train less experienced Clinicians and Interns.
