Position Purpose: StoneX Group Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Analyst (Transactional) to support the Transactional Legal team. This role will be instrumental in optimizing legal workflows, managing contract lifecycle processes, and supporting the execution of complex commercial and financial agreements across a global business. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong operational capabilities, sound business judgment, and a proactive, adaptable approach to work. They embrace innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging technology and emerging tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include: 

Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) & Process Optimization

  • Manage end-to-end contract workflows, including intake, triage, assignment, approvals, execution, and storage within the CLM system.
  • Serve as a key resource for CLM system administration, enhancements, and user support.
  • Maintain and update contract templates, clause libraries, and standardized processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and increase scalability.

Legal Workflow & Intake Management

  • Coordinate high volumes of legal requests across multiple business units and jurisdictions.
  • Triage incoming requests and ensure appropriate prioritization and routing.
  • Maintain and report on legal team metrics (e.g., turnaround times, volume tracking, bottlenecks).
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.

Transactional & Documentation Support

  • Support attorneys in the preparation, execution, and management of agreements, including:
    • NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts and credit support documents.
    • Trading and financial services documentation (e.g., ISDA-related agreements, brokerage agreements).
  • Coordinate execution processes, including signature collection and document finalization.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of executed agreements.

Regulatory & Compliance Coordination

  • Assist in implementing updates to documentation and workflows driven by regulatory requirements (e.g., CFTC, NFA SEC, EMIR, MiFID).
  • Support documentation consistency and adherence to internal policies and external obligations.
  • Track and maintain required disclosures and template updates.

Project Management & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support cross-functional legal initiatives, including CLM implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Credit, Operations, and Front Office stakeholders.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption.

Technology & AI-Driven Efficiency

  • Leverage legal technology tools, including AI-enabled platforms, to streamline contract review, data extraction, and workflow management.
  • Identify opportunities to deploy AI solutions to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate turnaround times.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to pilot and implement automation and AI-driven process enhancements.
  • Stay informed on emerging legal operations technologies and recommend practical applications for the function.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, paralegal work, or a related function.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows with competing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in using technology, including AI tools, to improve processes and drive efficiency.

Preferred

  • Experience with CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Agiloft, Icertis, DocuSign CLM, Linksquares, Luminance).
  • Experience managing contract workflows and supporting transactional legal teams.
  • Familiarity with financial services, trading, or derivatives documentation.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., contract analytics, document automation, workflow automation platforms) in a legal or operations setting.
  • Experience supporting data tracking, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Exposure to global regulatory frameworks affecting financial institutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
