Job description

LHH is partnering with our law firm in client seeking a Temporary Legal Assistant to join their team during a high-volume period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a role with the potential to become permanent based on workload and performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate multiple attorney calendars, including scheduling and confirming appointments for the following day
  • Track and monitor upcoming deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Handle e-filing in state and/or federal courts
  • Provide administrative and legal support as work is delegated by attorneys and staff
  • Assist with general office organization and workflow support during a busy period
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a law firm preferred as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative/legal support role
  • Strong experience with calendaring, scheduling, and deadline management
  • Familiarity with court e-filing systems
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, reliable, and able to take direction in a team setting
Anticipated pay rate range: $25 to $30 per hour DOE
