Job description

Octus is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Legal Account Management team. The Account Manager will manage and cultivate strong relationships with law firm accounts throughout the East Coast, with a focus on subscription renewals, expansion, uplifts, and cross-selling of additional Octus products. This full-time position is based in our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for a book of existing law firm clients across the East Coast
Drive client interactions, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities within accounts, aiming for a net retention target of 120%+
Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and an unparalleled customer experience
Work closely with Octus's product team to identify opportunities for product enhancements
Employ meticulous tracking and analysis of KPIs and product usage on accounts to formulate and implement appropriate relationship management strategies and territory planning

Requirements:

2+ years of progressive experience in an account management or customer-facing role, specializing in B2B solutions for small to medium sized law firms
Ability to cultivate relationships and forge business partnerships
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and respond promptly to multiple ongoing workstreams
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Willingness to travel for client meetings throughout the assigned territory (East Coast)
Experience with Salesforce

Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $90,000-$105,000.

The actual compensation will be at Octus's sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional commission-based compensation.
