Job Summary

We are seeking a Legal Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our firm. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm, professional, and organized environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced legal setting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for potential clients seeking legal services
  • Greet and assist clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor
  • Schedule and manage appointments and meetings for legal staff
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and mail distribution
  • Keep the reception area clean and presentable at all times
  • Provide general information about the firm’s services to clients and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow-ups
Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative training is a plus
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a legal setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal software is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
