Job Summary:
Idealease of Flint & Detroit, along with its fellow company, Tri-County International Trucks, a leading Medium & Heavy Duty dealership in Southeast Michigan, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to join our team as the Lease Operations Director. This is a full-time, salaried administrative position in the auto industry. As the Lease Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our leasing operations and ensure a smooth and profitable process for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the leasing & rental departments. Supervise front line employees
- Develop and implement strategies to increase leasing sales and customer satisfaction
- Review lease contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Monitor and track lease inventory and make recommendations for purchasing or leasing new vehicles
- Train and supervise leasing agents to ensure they provide exceptional customer service and meet leasing targets
- Work closely with the finance department to secure financing for lease transactions
- Manage relationships with leasing partners and negotiate favorable terms and rates
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for process improvements
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote our leasing services
- Provide excellent customer service and promptly address any leasing-related issues
- Prepare and present reports on leasing performance to upper management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leasing management within the truck industry
- Strong knowledge of leasing laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management software
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
