Job description

Bridge Investment Group is a leading alternative investment manager focused on real estate, credit, and private equity strategies. The Debt Strategies team originates, underwrites, and manages real estate credit investments across a variety of asset classes.

Bridge Debt Strategies is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the team for Summer 2027. This role provides hands-on exposure to real estate lending, underwriting, and portfolio management in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Summer Analyst will work closely with investment professionals across the deal lifecycle and gain direct exposure to live transactions and investment decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with deal sizing and structuring, including analysis of proceeds, leverage, DSCR, debt yield, and sensitivity scenarios across capital structures
  • Conduct market research and asset class analysis across multifamily, industrial, retail, and hospitality sectors using sources such as CoStar, RCA, Trepp, and broker materials
  • Review borrower financial statements, rent rolls, leases, and third-party reports, including appraisals, engineering, environmental, legal, and market studies, and identify key risks and considerations
  • Support broader due diligence efforts and maintain internal deal pipeline tracking
  • Partner with Asset Management to monitor portfolio investments and property-level performance
  • Contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiencies, including the use of data tools and AI-driven solutions within underwriting and portfolio management processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Capital Markets, and Asset Management, teams

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student (Class of 2028) pursuing a degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
  • Strong interest in real estate credit and lending
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or credit
  • Familiarity with real estate financial concepts (NOI, cap rates, DSCR, IRR, etc.)
