Learning and Development Specialist 

 This is a Hybrid role in one of the following office locations: Sacramento, CA; Agoura Hills, CA; Portland, OR; Chicago, Il; Indianapolis, In; Irmo, SC

Job SummaryAs a Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our employees across technical, customer-facing, and corporate roles. You’ll assist in designing, coordinating, and delivering high-impact training programs that enhance employee skills, improve performance, and support career development. This role works cross-functionally to build a culture of continuous learning in a fast-paced, innovation-driven tech environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and administer company-wide training programs, including compliance, product training, and role-specific learning

  • Support the scheduling, communication, and logistics of training sessions (virtual and in-person)

  • Assist in the development of training materials, presentations, job aids, and eLearning content

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and update training materials tailored to software, product, and process learning

  • Deliver instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual training sessions as needed

  • Maintain and update learning content on the company’s learning management system (LMS)

  • Track training participation, completion rates, and effectiveness using LMS and survey tools

  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve learning programs

  • Help maintain L&D data dashboards and prepare reports for HR and leadership

  • Work closely with HR and other departments to identify learning needs and align solutions

  • Support special projects such as leadership development initiatives or DEI-related training

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Communications, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or HR training

  • Strong organization, project coordination, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and basic LMS systems

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment

  • Basic understanding of technical training for software users or support teams

Compensation 

The hourly rate for this position is:  $23.00 - $31.00

The final pay for this position will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training and skills.
