Job description

Title: Learning Management System (LMS) Course Specialist
We are seekingย an experienced CLEAREDย Learning Management System (LMS) Course Specialist to work on site as part of a team to develop, sustain, and manage online training systems for Army Distributed Learning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with course creation, administration, community engagement, and content management within an LMS environment. This role will be responsible for performing this effort on site reporting directly to Army customer and local Program Manager.
Job Location:ย Onsite - Ft. Sill, OK
Responsibilities:
The candidate will have knowledge, skills and experience with developing and sustaining Learning Management System capabilities. The LMS Course Specialist manages, develops, and sustains Army Distributed Learning courses using Blackboard. Responsibilities include course lifecycle management, system monitoring, technology recommendations, and user training. Acts as the SME for LMS frameworks, handles user access, resolves technical issues, ensures security of testing materials, and provides monthly usage and upgrade reports.
Required Experience
  • Current active Secret Clearance
  • Contractor personnel should provide proof of experience associated with the ARMY Disturbed Learning Systems.
  • 2 + years of experience developing courses in LMS.
  • 2 years + administering courses in LMS.
  • 2 + years managing LMS content and user engagement.
  • Familiarity with Army Distributed Learning systems.
  • Develop and administer courses in LMS, ensuring effective learning experiences.
  • Manage content and facilitate community engagement within the LMS.
  • Support classified training sites
  • Complete all required Army Blackboard courses within 30 days of contract award.
  • Adapt to other LMS platforms as directed, completing necessary training.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Army Blackboard 101, 201, 301, Institutional Hierarchy, LCMS-ATRRS, and Certificate Management Tool courses (all online).
Preferred Experience
  • Army Distributed Learning/Blackboard expertise, course development & admin, user training, system troubleshooting, reporting, upgrades, and secure access management.
Education / Certifications
  • REQUIRED: Candidate must obtain and maintain required Computing Environment (CE) certifications Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II per DoD 8570.01-M - CompTIA Security+ Certification or Equivalent
Other Qualifications
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
  • Demonstrate high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Be in attendance and punctual as scheduled
  • Candidate must be able to travel as required
