Position Overview

Gasser Chair is seeking a motivated and organized HR Learning & Development Intern to support employee training, onboarding, and organizational development initiatives during Summer 2026.

This internship is ideal for students interested in Human Resources, training, employee development, organizational leadership, education, or instructional design. Unlike a traditional HR internship that focuses heavily on recruiting, benefits, or employee relations, this role will primarily support learning and development initiatives, including the continued rollout of our Learning Management System.

The intern will gain hands-on experience helping design and organize employee learning experiences, onboarding pathways, training content, and development programs that support team member success across the organization.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Supporting the continued rollout and improvement of Gasser Chair's Learning Management System
  • Organizing and maintaining training content, learning paths, and employee development resources
  • Assisting with onboarding program development and new hire training initiatives
  • Helping convert policies, SOPs, work instructions, and other documentation into employee-friendly training content
  • Supporting the creation of quizzes, assessments, and learning activities
  • Assisting with training completion tracking and learning-related reporting
  • Collaborating with department leaders to gather content and support training initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the employee learning experience and training effectiveness
