Internship Overview   

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Business Operating Systems team. This role offers hands-on experience in optimizing and supporting the systems and processes that drive operational efficiency across the organization. The intern will assist in analyzing workflows, documenting procedures, and supporting system implementations and upgrades. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, and have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Duties:

Business Intelligence & Springs Business Operations

  • Support data collection, cleansing, validation, and maintenance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of operational and performance reporting.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools used across business functions.
  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify trends, performance opportunities, and process improvement insights.
  • Support documentation, auditing, and evidence management activities related to operational standards, SBOS maturity assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with process automation and digital tool development to reduce manual effort and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and improve user adoption of reporting and workflow management tools.
  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify trends, performance opportunities, and process improvement insights.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools used across business functions.
  • Support documentation, auditing, and evidence management activities related to operational standards, SBOS maturity assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality Systems - Standardized Process Templates

  • Collaborate with the quality team to define standardized process and template structures
  • Review current documentation and identify gaps or inconsistencies
  • Develop a controlled library for process, procedure and WI templates
  • Align naming conventions and approval workflows to SBOS governance
  • Pilot templates in selected plants and collect user feedback

SBOS Playbook for Manufacturing Systems

  • Consolidate best practices, visual standards, and lessons learned
  • Integrate system interconnections and links to templates and KPIs
  • Ensure alignment with the SBOS House, PDCA cycles, and standard work
  • Prepare the playbook for future replication across additional sites
