Job description

The Leadership Development Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving leadership development initiatives that build a strong pipeline of future leaders. This role partners closely with managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to develop high-potential frontline leaders, drive leadership readiness, and support organizational effectiveness. The position oversees a team of trainers and administers leadership assessment and development tools.
This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Development Program 70%
  • Partner with managers and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement a robust Management Training Program that prepares high-potential frontline leaders for advancement.
  • Create leadership-readiness curriculum, learning pathways, workshops, coaching programs, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Facilitate leadership training sessions, development programs, and workshops for emerging leaders.
  • Analyze program metrics, participant feedback, assessment results, and business outcomes to improve program effectiveness continuously.
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential employee development initiatives.
  • Monitor participant progress and recommend ongoing development opportunities to strengthen leadership capability and readiness.

Assessment and Development 15%
  • Administer and leverage the Criteria Assessment and Develop platform to support individual and team development.
  • Develop competency models, assessment tools, and development frameworks that align with organizational leadership expectations.
  • Partner with managers and teams to translate assessment insights into actionable development plans.
  • Facilitate post-assessment development planning and support teams in utilizing development resources to drive growth and performance.

Training Team Leadership 10%
  • Manage, coach, and develop the training team to ensure effective delivery of learning programs aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Execute training and leadership development strategies in partnership with the Vice President of Talent.
  • Manage program communications, schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements to improve learner engagement, business impact, and leadership outcomes.
  • Support employee development, performance improvement, and team effectiveness initiatives.

Organizational Support 5%
  • Assist with organizational initiatives, including performance management cycles, change management efforts, and culture-building activities.
  • Provide support for recruiting, employee relations, and other Human Resources initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business, Education, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in leadership development, talent development, learning and development, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs and learning solutions.
  • Experience facilitating training, coaching leaders, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising trainers, facilitators, or learning professionals.
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, assess program effectiveness, and make recommendations based on insights.
  • Proficiency with leadership assessment and development tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace applications (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Chat, Meet).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM, ATD, CPTD, coaching certifications, or related credentials.
  • Experience supporting high-potential talent programs and succession planning.
  • Experience administering leadership assessments and translating results into development strategies.

Compensation:
  • The salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 annually.
  • As allowable under Colorado State Law, this position is exempt from overtime.
  • Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise & may vary from the amount above.
  • There is potential for an annual employee profit-sharing bonus based upon company performance.
