  • Identify training needs and build skills matrices in collaboration with managers and key stakeholders.
  • Design, coordinate, and support the delivery of internal and external learning programs, including full training logistics (venues, trainers, materials, attendance tracking).
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and institutions (including MQA-approved providers where applicable).
  • Ensure proper documentation and accurate tracking of all training activities, including records, attendance, certifications, and learning data, while evaluating training effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.
  • Handle all HRDC processes, including training grant applications, claims submissions, and follow-up for refunds.
  • Coordinate Youth Employment Programme (YEP) processes with the Ministry of Labour, including submissions, monitoring, and claims, ensuring compliance and audit readiness for all government-related schemes.
  • Support the design and coordination of internship and graduate programmes, including liaising with universities and training institutions to develop talent pipelines and partnerships.
  • Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation follow-up, internal transfers, and exit processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR systems, and documentation in compliance with local labour regulations, and prepare HR letters, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Manage administrative processes related to the recruitment of expatriates relocating to Mauritius, including handling documentation and coordinating work and residence permits in liaison with relevant authorities and external partners.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and employee development across the organisation.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives related to learning and development.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives linked to talent development and career growth.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, Learning & Development coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of L&D processes and the training lifecycle.
  • Practical experience with HRDC refund processes and YEP schemes in Mauritius is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with MQA requirements and local training regulations is an asset.
  • Good understanding of expatriate processes in Mauritius, including Occupational Permit applications and related requirements, would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Additional Information
