Overview SNF is a specialty chemical group whose products, water-soluble polymers, contribute to treang, recycling, preserving water, saving energy, and reducing carbon footprint. Innovation and movement toward a cleaner, less carbon-intensive world accelerates SNF’s growth. The Laboratory Intern will support the Application Laboratory team with testing, data collection, sample preparation, and other laboratory activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in a laboratory environment and exposure to the application and performance testing of specialty chemical products. The intern will work closely with laboratory personnel to assist with projects, maintain accurate records, and support daily lab operations while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Assist with laboratory testing and evaluation of products and applications. Prepare samples, solutions, and test materials according to established procedures. Collect, record, and organize test data accurately. Maintain laboratory notebooks, spreadsheets, and other documentation. Assist with routine laboratory maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment organization. Support product demonstrations, trials, and research projects as assigned. Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company policies. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned projects. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or a related technical field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow laboratory procedures and safety guidelines.
