Job description

We are working with our client to locate an Instructional Designer to support the refinement and redevelopment of dementia caregiver education materials and online training modules. Most of the source content exists and requires editing, simplification, restructuring, and adaptation into learner-friendly formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and shorten existing guide content into concise, easy-to-complete sections
  • Create polished manuscript materials for caregiver-facing resources
  • Ensure content is accessible, empathetic, and practical
  • Incorporate third-party caregiver wellness resources where appropriate
  • Rebuild and modernize an existing online course in Articulate Rise using established templates

Start Date: ASAP

Duration & Hours: To be determined by the consultant following an interview

Location: Virtual

Experience Required:

  • Experience editing and simplifying content for adult learners
  • Strong background in instructional design and learner-centered content development
  • Experience working in Articulate Rise; must be able to work using own computer and active Rise license
  • Ability to transform long-form or clinical content into concise, actionable learning materials
  • Familiarity with dementia care, caregiver support, behavioral health, or senior care is preferred but not required
  • Experience aligning course content to existing learning frameworks/templates
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable providing an estimate following an interview
  • Must be able to share work samples during an interview
