- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1860 - $1960 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Location: Portsmouth, NH 03801 — Portsmouth, New Hampshire (New England travel nursing)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Family Services (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Gyn/Pedi)
- Number of Beds: 19
- Patient Ratios: L&D 1-2:1, Postpartum 3:1, Gyn/Pedi 3-4:1
- Team: Nurses, Unit Coordinators, Manager, Director — collaborative multidisciplinary team

Job Requirements — Labor & Delivery RN (Travel RN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submittal (RN license for NH preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience (L&D nurse, perinatal nursing)
- Required certifications: NRP, C-EFM, BLS (STABLE and PALS preferred)
- Experience with LDRP; Nursery/NICU experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse and CPN Connect documentation systems (electronic charting experience)
- Strong clinical assessment, EFM interpretation, and postpartum/newborn care skills
Responsibilities — L&D and Postpartum Nursing Duties
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered maternity and newborn care to mothers and infants
- Monitor and assess patients using Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and telemetry as appropriate
- Assist with obstetric procedures including external cephalic versions, circumcisions, and C-sections
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, neonatology, lactation consultants and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other units (Postpartum, Gyn/Pedi) as needed to support staffing and clinical coverage
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Meditech Expanse / CPN Connect and uphold hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Promote a positive patient experience—support access to doulas, massage therapy, and family-centered care
