The L1/L2 Tech Onsite and Desktop Support Technician plays a crucial role in providing both hardware and cabling solutions for a large technical team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role balances mixed hardware and cabling projects with regular onsite travel, ensuring seamless technical support and network setup. The technician will deliver hands-on assistance, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and maintain equipment to support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and desktop support to end-users in a large team environment
  • Perform cable installation and network setup tasks on-site
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, including system upgrades and testing
  • Assist with equipment testing and documentation to ensure operational standards
  • Resolve tickets promptly using established ticketing systems
  • Engage with customers to understand and address technical issues effectively
  • Support mixed hardware and cabling projects with regular travel (10-30%)
