Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to support and help manage our Albertsons business. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–3 years of direct experience calling on Albertsons who is ready to continue developing their account management skills. The Key Account Manager will partner closely with senior account leadership to drive sales, execute customer strategies, and support day-to-day account operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and growth of Albertsons account across sales, planning, and execution
  • Prepare and maintain customer-specific reporting, including sales performance, promotional results, and distribution tracking
  • Assist with customer presentations, line reviews, ad planning, and item setup
  • Manage promotional details including pricing, funding, forecasts, and post-event analysis
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales operations, supply chain, finance, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of customer initiatives
  • Track and follow up on key action items, timelines, and deliverables tied to Albertsons programs
  • Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and customer data
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Albertsons systems, processes, and merchandising expectations


Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience calling on Albertsons, either directly or in a support role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and customer data
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with syndicated data is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required (e.g., for client meetings, trade shows)
  • Self-starter mindset with a desire to grow within account management


Preferred Qualifications

Reporting Relationship

  • This position reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts
