Job description

Company Overview:
Keolis MassAdventures is the non-profit arm of Keolis, a global leader in public transportation services. Our mission is to connect public transit-dependent populations to outdoor activities and cultural experiences across Massachusetts, using the Commuter Rail as our anchor.
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused van driver to join our team on a part-time 8-20hr/week basis during peak season (mostly weekends but there are some weekday trips during June-Oct) The driver will be responsible for picking up travelers from designated Commuter Rail stations across the state and transporting them to and from adventure destinations.
Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport travelers between designated Commuter Rail stations and adventure destinations.
  • Adhere to the tour schedule and timing as provided in advance by the Director of Operations.
  • Maintain vehicles in accordance with warranty requirements and internal maintenance plans.
  • Assist in verifying that all guests have completed liability waivers, under the direction of the Director of Operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for travelers.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external team members, including tour guides at destinations.

What We're Looking For:
  • A warm, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
  • Availability to work some holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day).

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Currently has or can obtain a Motorbus Driver Certificate with the MA DPU (company paid if you don't already have one)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • 2+ years' experience driving professionally.
  • Comfortable with technology such as iPhone & iPad.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, or recreational activities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts roadways, history, and destinations is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!

Physical Requirements:
  • Adequate visual and hearing acuity for safe driving you will take a physical test.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
