Job Description:

Primary Purpose of Role:

Independently administers and supports core datacenter and cloud services that enable business operations globally. This roleis responsible forreliable service delivery across server, storage, backup, monitoring, file services, and cloud platforms, while contributing to automation, resilience, and standards compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer production infrastructure acrossdatacenterand cloud environments, including compute, storage, backup, virtualization, and file services.

Manage core infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, FTP, and platform monitoring/alerting.

Execute patching, lifecycle maintenance, compliance remediation, and vulnerability-related infrastructure actions.

Support cloud service management activities including provisioning, governance, optimization, and operational support.

Perform root cause analysis for recurring infrastructure issues and recommend corrective actions.

Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery execution for supported platforms.

Develop andmaintainscripts, automation routines, and infrastructure configuration standards.

Coordinate with security, application, database, and network teams on incidents, projects, and changes.

Key Performance Measures:

Service availability for assigned infrastructure platforms.

Successful completion of patching, maintenance, and lifecycle activities on schedule.

Reduction in recurring incidents and operational defects.

Backup and recovery success metrics, including restore test outcomes.

Percentage of standard tasks automated or operationally improved.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.

Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.

Experience with virtualization platforms, storage, backup, and monitoring tools.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.

Working knowledge of scripting, configuration management, or infrastructure automation.

Experience supporting change, incident, and problem management in a production environment.
