Position Overview

As a Principal Program Manager in Go-to-Market Transformation and Programs at Autodesk, you will lead complex, cross-functionaltransformationand growth programs critical to Autodesk's GTM strategy. You will translate strategic priorities into structured, outcome-focused execution, driving measurable businessimpactsuch as revenue growth, productivity gains, or cost efficiency.

You willestablishand evolve the governance, operating cadence, and delivery approach that enable teams to execute effectively and leaders to make informed decisions. Working closely with directors, senior leaders, and executives, you will provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and tradeoffs, helping guide how work isaccomplishedacross the organization.

You bring both rigor and judgment to your work, applying strong program management discipline while navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, andfacilitatingalignment across teams. You balance attention to detail with the ability to connect initiatives to broader organizationalobjectives.

This position is hybrid/remote and reports to the Senior Manager of GTMPMO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact GTM transformation and growth programs from strategy through execution and benefits realization, ensuring alignment to organizational priorities and measurable outcomes

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve program governance, operating cadence, anddeliverystructures that create clarity, accountability, and momentum

  • Partner closely with senior leaders and executives to translate strategy into executable roadmaps, surface tradeoffs, and drivetimely, well-informed decisions

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, Operations, Product, and Technology, resolving systemic blockers and managing complex dependencies

  • Influence outcomes without direct authority by building trust, aligning stakeholders around shared goals, and navigating competing priorities to move work forward

  • Provide clear, executive-ready reporting and summaries that communicate progress, risks, outcomes, and recommendations

  • Own the framing of decisions needed to unblock work, including outlining options, implications, and recommended paths forward

  • Proactivelyanticipateandidentifyrisks and opportunities,escalating withthoughtful mitigation plans and proposed actions

  • Coach and mentor junior program managersassigned toprograms, providing guidance, developing capabilities, and ensuring consistent application of PMO standards and best practices

  • Apply andadaptPMO standards, tools, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement of program delivery across the team

  • Partner with enablement and change management teams to ensure programs are supported by effective communication, training, and adoption approaches

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs or transformationswith impactstogo-to-market functions

  • Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders and executives, including preparing materials,facilitatingdiscussions, and supporting decision-making

  • Strong ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and balance detailed execution with strategic context

  • Provensuccessdriving collaboration acrossglobal teams and multiplefunctions andmaintainingmomentum in complex environments

  • Experienceoperatingwithin a PMO-governed program management framework, using standard tools, artifacts, and reportingwith accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences

  • PMP, Change Management, or related certifications preferred, withdemonstratedflexibility in application

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,000 and $182,710. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
