Job description

Position Summary
Asante Physician Partners is seeking a full time BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join our current 2-person practice in beautiful Medford, OR. Our board-certified physicians provide 24-hour consultative call coverage 7 days per week for the region and hospital. We provide a full spectrum of consultative, ultrasound and prenatal diagnostic services. Currently, the practice is consult-only with the option to have a delivery service. This well-established, respected practice has a stable referral base; clinic volumes have continued to grow over the last several years.
Position Qualifications
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in Obstetrical/Maternal Fetal Medicine is required
  • Evidence of previous management education and/or a commitment to enhance management education/skills is preferred

Education
  • Licensed physician and graduate of an approved medical school is required
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine is required

Required Certification/Licensure
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine Boarded by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG) Obstetrical Medicine Boarded by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Oregon Medical License
  • Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past 10 years and proof of insurance is required upon start
  • MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
  • Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
