Job description

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC (DST), a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients, is seeking a full-timeย Junior Network Administrator to provide support to a Federal Government customer in the Victorville, CA location. This is an exempt remote role.ย 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor the health, performance, availability, and utilization of network systems using enterprise network management and monitoring tools.
  • Support the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, hubs, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, performance degradation, and hardware or software-related network problems under the guidance of the Lead Network Administrator.
  • Respond to network anomalies, outages, and service disruptions to restore normal operations and minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine network maintenance activities, including firmware updates, patch management, equipment replacement, and system upgrades.
  • Assist with user account administration, network access management, and implementation of security controls in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, help desk personnel, and other IT staff to support enterprise infrastructure and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topology diagrams, troubleshooting activities, and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance network performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Required Experience:

  • 4 years minimum netwroking experience.
  • Be able to exercise a high degree of discretion when evaluating client\'s operating systems, hardware configuration, firewalls, security, and network infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude as expected.

Required Education/Training:

  • High Scholl diploma or GED required
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+ certificationย
