POSITION SUMMARY
The Jr. Financial Analyst will help analyze and interpret financial and market data to provide logical explanations for budget or expected variances. Ideally, this person will demonstrate strong leadership skills, work well in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and will strive to enrich the Company Culture.
The Jr. Financial Analyst reports directly to the Controller maintains proactive, frequent, and open communication with all members of Management.
  1. FINANCIAL ANALYST RESPONSIBILITES

  • Work closely with leadership team to prepare and analyze weekly & monthly project results
  • Serve as the Contract Administrator for all customer contracts, (COI's, W-9's, etc).
  • Ensure completion of AMPP's Subcontractor Agreements, both customers and vendors
  • Prepare all bids for potential customers
  • Work closely with the leadership team to prepare and complete post-close project analysis to improve profitability and win % for future projects / bids
  • Provide analytical reporting to PGS and AMPP leadership teams periodically
  • Assist in new customer development and respective rates as needed
  • Champion the storm contracts process including storm billing, cost analysis, and renewals
  • Maintain all supplier portals, including IS Networld, Ariba, Avetta, etc.
  • Update equipment rates bi-annually
  • Monthly AEP Accrual and closing of completed jobs
  • Complete and Analyze Weekly Revenue Reports
  • Attend conferences on behalf of AMPP to gain new customer relationships
  • Perform various analytical tasks and projects to assist management in decision making to improve the profitability of the company
  • Facilitate the educational process by staying current with topics in finance / accounting and help teach / train the leadership team in these areas
  • Assist in gathering information for audits
  • Other duties as directed
