Reports to: Director of Project Engineering

Located in: Tulsa

Cooperates with: Engineering, Sales, Production, Project Management

Primary Responsibility: We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Project Engineer to take the lead on complex, high-impact development and customer projects. This role operates at the intersection of sales, engineering, and operations, serving as a senior technical resource who guides solution design, supports strategic sales efforts, and ensures successful project execution. The Senior Project Engineer is capable of independently driving projects from concept through implementation, evaluating product functionality to fit customer needs, and troubleshooting challenging engineering problems. This position plays a key role in mentoring junior engineers, improving processes, and supporting the long-term scalability of MIRATECH's product portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • Take the lead on high-level development projects, serving as the primary technical authority throughout the sales and execution lifecycle
  • Respond to advanced customer inquiries regarding product specifications, features, and integration capabilities
  • Communicate with and educate our sales staff and customers on our technical solutions
  • Ensure proposed solutions are correctly sized and constructed to meet quality standards
  • Support the creation of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for potential clients.
  • Participate in sales meetings and customer negotiations, providing senior-level technical insight and risk assessment
  • Support Operations and Project Management teams during execution, resolving technical challenges as they arise
  • Estimate project costs and consult on product design with Sales and Production teams to optimize manufacturability and delivery
  • Perform installation support and advanced troubleshooting for new and custom products in the field as needed
  • Develop tools, documentation, and standards to transition mature products to Catalyzer or other internal teams
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Project Engineers

What Qualifies You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • 10+ years in a related engineering field or engineering employment at MIRATECH
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Exceptional experience with time management, organization skills, meeting project deadlines, problem solving, and creative solutions
  • Strong technical judgment and the ability to troubleshoot challenging engineering problems.
  • Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frame
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or technical documentation software
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with SolidWorks CAD or equivalent
  • Commitment to MIRATECH and positive sense of culture
