Job description

PeerSource is currently recruiting for a JDE Business Analyst on a Direct Hire basis. This role is based out of Winchester, VA (relocation assistance for out of state candidates is offered).

Summary

We are seeking a JD Edwards Business Analyst to support enterprise ERP initiatives across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, and IT. This role will translate business objectives into scalable JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions, lead requirements discovery, document process and data flows, and ensure solutions align with operational goals, financial controls, and technical architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops across business and IT teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, technical requirements, user stories, specifications, and configuration documentation within JD Edwards.
  • Map current and future-state processes across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and related ERP workflows.
  • Document integrations between JD Edwards and third-party systems, including WMS, TMS, CRM, banking platforms, EDI, and reporting tools.
  • Define data flows and master data impacts across Item Master, Customer Master, Supplier Master, Chart of Accounts, and related areas.
  • Partner with JDE Developers, CNC Administrators, Architects, and Functional Leads throughout solution design, implementation, and release readiness.
  • Support QA, UAT, data validation, reconciliation testing, and traceability between requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, compliance considerations, system constraints, process improvement opportunities, and automation opportunities.
  • Create and maintain BRDs, functional design documents, process flows, decision logs, training materials, stakeholder communications, and go-live support materials.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience, including 2+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne support.
  • Experience with one or more JDE modules, such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, or Sales Order Management.
  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture, system integrations, data flows, and master data impacts.
  • Experience writing functional design documentation and supporting technical solution reviews.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex ERP issues, perform data analysis, and support reconciliation efforts.
  • Understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, system usability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or JDE enhancements.
