The Position
IT Program Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions
The Opportunity
Lead the charge on complex, large-scale IT integrations and organizational change. As an IT Program Manager for M&A, you will navigate organizational complexity to define solution visions, define and execute integration roadmaps, and bridge cultural gaps during critical acquisitions. Operating as a senior delivery leader (Program Manager, RTE, STE), you will drive strategic alignment, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure seamless transitions that maximize business value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Delivery & Scope: Define, manage, and execute the scope and delivery roadmaps for highly complex, cross-domain M&A IT initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Build and navigate complex stakeholder networks, influencing senior management and resolving conflicts to drive consensus across boundaries.
  • Agile Leadership & Optimization: Champion Agile best practices and innovative delivery frameworks to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and elevate team efficiency.
  • Cultural Integration: Successfully bridge cultural gaps between Roche and acquired companies, fostering collaboration and mentoring teams through complex transitions.
  • Financial/Vendor Management: Experience building and managing complex IT budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and overseeing third-party integration teams.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. (MBA, PMP, PgMP certifications are highly preferred).
  • 12+ years of senior-level program/project management, with a proven track record leading IT M&A integrations, global rollouts, and large-scale delivery programs.
  • Deep expertise in SDLC lifecycle, Agile frameworks, advanced analytics for complex problem-solving, and aligning IT delivery with broader market trends and business strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, backed by a strong capability to coach and mentor less experienced professionals. Proven ability to lead cross-functional, globally distributed teams within a highly matrixed organization.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is between $118,700 - $220,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
