Job description

Job Title

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for supporting and managing the United States Attorneys Enterprise. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, responsive, reliable, and detail-oriented with solid managerial, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Duties

Duties will include:

  • Serve as a technical lead in managing the engineering, operations, and maintenance of a variety of enterprise systems and projects which can include IT hardware, software, account management, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Will be the subject matter expert in enterprise infrastructure with responsibility for evaluating, designing, implementing, and sustaining IT enterprise operations and systems.
  • Meet with technical staff and other federal agencies to address current or potential problems, to coordinate technical implementation plans and schedules and to obtain information on the latest hardware and software solutions.
  • Design, deploy, and manage software defined networks and zero trust architecture in virtualization and cloud service environments.
  • Perform network analysis on network traffic throughout the agency to include analyzing data communication traffic volumes, network bandwidth capacity, peak loading spikes, and the overall effect any modifications will have to internal data networks.
  • Provides centralized, enterprise-wide coordination, management, and policy development for major IT program initiatives and integrates program operations, initiatives, and projects with other functional areas, organizations, and programs to address critical mission needs.
  • Serves as a Contractors Officers Representative (COR) on assigned program area contracts.
