The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. Job Responsibilities -
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy across all financial accounts.
- Record and post daily financial transactions, keeping books balanced and up to date.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management and payment tracking.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis.
- Administer payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
- Generate financial reports and summaries to support management decision-making.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records in a timely manner.
Job Requirements -
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience processing full-cycle accounts payable and receivable.
