Job Title: Production Associate
Location: New York City (On-site 4 days per week, 1 day remote)
Annual Salary: $60,000-$65,000
Company Overview
Dana-co, a leading New York-based intimate apparel company, seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Associate to support the execution of production operations.
This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with data, managing details, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products move efficiently from development through delivery.
The Production Associate will play a key role in purchase order management, production tracking, ERP maintenance, sample coordination, and vendor communication. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to apparel production, supply chain operations, and product lifecycle management within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and distribute purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing, delivery dates, and packing requirements.
  • Monitor production timelines and delivery schedules, proactively identifying and escalating potential delays.
  • Maintain product, order, and delivery information within the ERP system.
  • Support style setup and master data maintenance for new seasonal product launches.
  • Track production samples and coordinate reviews with internal teams.
  • Review packaging and labeling requirements to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Process packing lists, shipment documentation, and inventory-related records.
  • Assist with production reporting, data analysis, and special projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate sample requests for marketing, sales, photo shoots, and other cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, merchandising, planning, design, and sourcing teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the production team as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Production Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in apparel production, operations, merchandising support, planning, or a related function.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; apparel industry software experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools and workflow automation is a plus.
