Job description

FIGS is seeking a Apparel Design & Concept Intern to support the design team across concept development, product creation, and brand storytelling. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience working alongside the Design team to bring innovative, functional product to life for healthcare professionals. As an intern, you will contribute to the design process through research, visual development, and team support - gaining exposure to how FIGS builds product from concept through execution. This is an opportunity to build foundational skills, explore different areas of design, and learn within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating design boards, presentations, and visual assets (Illustrator, Miro)
  • Support development of seasonal concept work and storytelling materials
  • Contribute to sketching, CADs, and early-stage design exploration
  • Assist in the development and organization of trim, branding, and labeling concepts
  • Support building and maintaining construction and design reference libraries
  • Help track and organize inspiration, materials, and design inputs across categories
  • Support in trend and market research to support concept and product development
  • Gather and organize visual references, materials, and ideas to inform seasonal direction
  • Help organize design racks, samples, and seasonal materials

FIGS Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's hourly range is between $18 and $20. Actual salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
