Job Overview: Health Information Partners is looking for a skilled and experienced Inpatient Coder to join our team. This fully remote position offers flexibility in workdays and hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance. If you're an expert coder passionate about ensuring accurate documentation and reimbursement processes, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assigning accurate medical codes for inpatient records based on MS-DRG and APR-DRG guidelines.

  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to maintain coding quality.

  • Utilizing EPIC software to perform coding tasks efficiently (preferred experience).

  • Meeting coding deadlines and contributing to the team's overall success.

Required Qualifications:

  • CCS credential required.

  • At least 3 years of recent inpatient coding experience.

  • Familiarity with EPIC preferred, though not mandatory.

  • Availability for at least20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
