Position Summary
The goal of the Premium Hospitality Internship Program is to provide students with hands-on experience in the premium services sector of a world-class sports and entertainment venue. Designed to provide students with meaningful, project-based, and career-relevant learning experiences while gaining exposure to the business, receiving mentorship, and getting an introduction to skills aligned with their field of study. This internship offers a comprehensive overview of premium catering operations, encompassing multiple departments and a semi-structured program phase:
KEY LEARNINGS:
Example of Program Phases & Department Rotations:
  • Orientation & Training: Introduction to the stadium, service standards, and procedures.
  • Premium Event Sales: Assisting with inquiries, guest communication, and pre-event needs.
  • Food & Beverage Service: Assisting with food preparation and beverage inventory.
  • Premium Service: Ensuring match day food and beverage delivery in premium areas.
  • Premium Catering Events: Supporting private functions from setup to breakdown.
  • Game Operations & Concessions: Engaging in event day catering operations and logistics.
  • Captains Project & Presentation: Completing a project related to premium catering operations and presenting findings to the leadership team.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.50
This role is expected to last from July 20, 2026, and will end on October 23, 2026.
This position will remain open until July 20, 2026.

The Premium Catering Internship with Oak View Group offers an unparalleled opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience at the Inter & Co. Stadium in Orlando, FL. Home of Orlando City Soccer, Orlando Pride, and Orlando Storm teams-this internship is specifically designed for students currently enrolled in hospitality, business, or related majors, seeking to develop valuable skills in a world-class sports and entertainment venue.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of premium seating areas, ensuring they meet the highest standards of presentation.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, proactively addressing guest needs and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Support the food and beverage team in delivering seamless dining experiences, maintaining quality and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with event day operations, including guest dining, wayfinding, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and positive guest experience.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
  • Practice monitoring social media platforms, developing content for posts, and capturing the attendee
  • Embrace a proactive attitude and commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled rising Junior or Senior undergraduate student in Hospitality, Business, or other related major.
  • Local to Orlando area; no relocation provided.

Required:
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or above in Hospitality Management, Business (or similar) program
  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely busy environment
  • Must be outgoing, energetic, motivated & professional
  • Team player with excellent customer service and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to solve time-sensitive issues and possess good organizational skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred (Nice-to-have):
  • Experience in retail, catering, concessions, and/or alcohol service to the public in a hospitality setting.
  • Prior experience with point of sales systems (TapIn2 Preferred).
  • SERV Safe Certification a plus.
