Pay: $22-$25 / HR

About 100 Thieves

100 Thieves (“Hundred Thieves”) is the premier lifestyle brand and gaming organization. Founded in 2017 by Call of Duty World Champion and YouTube star Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, 100 Thieves has championship-winning esports teams competing in Call of Duty, VALORANT, Apex Legends, and more. Recognized globally for its apparel, the LA-based brand is known for rapidly selling out new drops and working with various collaborators - from anime franchises like Attack on Titan to luxury brands like Gucci. 100 Thieves long-term partners include industry-leading brands such as AT&T, Lexus, and Oakley. In addition to its esports and apparel, 100 Thieves also works with premier gaming talent, including co-owners Valkyrae and CouRage, to produce world-class gaming content across major platforms, including podcasts, docuseries, and social content.

About the Role

We are looking for a part-time IT Support Contractor to assist our Director of IT & Infrastructure with day-to-day technical operations. This is a people-first support role; you will be the go-to technical resource for our internal teams across esports, studios, apparel, operations, and more, helping them stay unblocked and fully operational. Whether that means keeping live streams running flawlessly, staging a LAN event in our office, or helping provision a new employee’s accounts, you show up with urgency, patience, and a service mindset.

The ideal candidate has a strong IT generalist background combined with hands-on experience in SaaS administration, live streaming, online broadcasting systems, and gaming environments. You thrive in fast-moving, collaborative workplaces and genuinely enjoy helping people solve problems.

Requirements

General IT & Support

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations in esports, gaming, tech, or similar industries

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams with a wide range of technical needs

  • Flexible with hours; some events may require early morning, evening, or weekend availability

  • Proven ability to install, set up, and resolve issues across PC and Mac hardware, software applications, and various operating systems

  • Comfortable serving as a point of contact for walk-up support, Slack/ticketing requests, and on-site troubleshooting

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

  • A proactive self-starter with great initiative, drive, and strong organization and follow-through; able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with help desk software, ticketing systems (Jira Service Management preferred), and remote desktop tools

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools

Identity & SaaS Administration

  • Familiarity with Okta or similar identity providers (user provisioning, deprovisioning, group/app assignment)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (account management, licensing, basic admin tasks)

  • Proficient with Google Workspace admin basics (Drive, Gmail, Calendar, user management)

  • Ability to follow established provisioning and offboarding workflows and escalate access issues appropriately

  • Basic security awareness: MFA enforcement, phishing hygiene, and adherence to access control policies

Networking & Infrastructure

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP)

  • Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues across wired and wireless environments

  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki or similar managed network platforms is a plus

  • Ability to distinguish between issues that can be resolved at the support level vs. those requiring escalation to infrastructure vendors

Esports & Gaming

  • Knowledge of sports, gaming, esports, and influencers is strongly preferred

  • Ability to install, configure, update, and maintain game clients, related software, and common technical issues for esports players and creators

  • Knowledge of gaming peripherals, hardware configuration, and performance optimization for competitive and content setups

  • Experience staging and configuring esports gaming rigs and LAN environments (PC Bang-style setups, multi-PC deployments, peripheral configuration)

  • Comfortable with hardware asset tracking and inventory management across a mixed fleet of gaming PCs, staff Macs, and peripherals

Streaming & Broadcasting

  • Proficient with broadcasting software such as OBS Studio and similar tools, with the ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot streaming workflows such as encoders, scenes, overlays, capture cards, and audio routing

  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining live streaming platforms, including Twitch and YouTube Live

  • Familiarity with streaming-adjacent tools and hardware: stream decks, capture devices, and A/V equipment

Documentation & Communication

  • Ability to document technical processes, configurations, and support resolutions clearly

  • Communicates professionally with internal staff, event vendors, and third-party contractors

  • Comfortable following up on vendor tickets and escalations

Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Support

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day IT support resource for internal teams, including esports, studios, marketing, ops, apparel, and more

  • Respond to walk-up, Slack, and Jira-ticketed support requests with urgency and a helpful, professional attitude

  • Assist teammates in resolving and managing hardware, software, connectivity, and account-related issues on-site and remotely as needed

  • Provide clear, patient, step-by-step guidance to users when troubleshooting technical problems

Identity, SaaS & Account Management

  • Support user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows in Okta and Microsoft 365 under the direction of the Director of IT

  • Assist with Google Workspace account and Drive-related support requests

  • Help enforce MFA and basic security hygiene across user accounts

  • Flag access anomalies or policy violations

Esports & Facility

  • Configure gaming rigs to meet performance specs required for competitive play and content production

  • Assist with LAN event staging, PC Bang setups, and esports team rig deployments

  • Maintain hardware inventory and asset records across gaming PCs, peripherals, and staff devices

  • Install, configure, update, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and game titles across internal staff, esports players, and creator machines

Streaming & Broadcasting

  • Assist teams with live streaming and broadcasting support across Twitch, YouTube Live, and related platforms

  • Set up and troubleshoot OBS workflows, capture cards, stream decks, and A/V configurations as needed

Infrastructure & Networking

  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, VLAN issues, access point resets) and escalate to vendors when appropriate

  • Help communicate with third-party vendors (network, hardware, SaaS) and follow up on open tickets

  • Communicate professionally with event staff, vendors, and internal departments

Process & Documentation

  • Document support resolutions, configurations, and recurring issue patterns in the IT knowledge base

  • Assist the Director of IT & Infrastructure with onsite activities and other IT-related projects as needed

  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the improvement of IT processes

  • Assist with setting up, testing, and troubleshooting event-related IT systems
