Job Description:

Truist's Corporate Banking Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts join one of the Corporate Banking industry groups to play a meaningful role in supporting senior corporate banking professionals.

The Corporate Banking Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within corporate banking. Analysts will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with corporate banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.

Assignments will be within the Corporate Banking groups, with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the bank.

Corporate Banking:

The Corporate Banking team is responsible for providing coverage banking services to corporate clients, including corporate finance and specialized product services, designated by industry vertical, with a focus on mid to large cap-sized private and public companies. Corporate Banking analysts support their specific industry team and the senior Corporate Bankers through their responsibilities involving, but not limited to due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

Requisitions open to other external candidates will be posted at a later date if additional positions remain open for the Corporate Banking Analyst Program.

The Corporate Banking Analyst position is typically a two-year position. At the end of the two-year period, Analysts may be asked to remain in the role for an additional year.

Location:

Truist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.

The starting salary for this position is $100,000.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This requisition is open to 2026 Truist Interns only. Applicants who were not 2026 Truist interns will not be considered
  • Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2026 or May/June 2027
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Business major
  • Overall GPA of 3.0
  • Strong interest in finance and investment banking
  • Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
  • Up to 1 year of related work experience
