Job description

As a Content Producer on the Creative Production team, you will capture and edit engaging still and short-form video content for Whole Foods Market social and brand channels. This role combines production planning, with social-first photo/video capture and editing to support content creation needs. You'll collaborate with creative producers, social strategists, and creative partners to deliver polished, on-brand content that resonates across social channels and digital platforms.
Key job responsibilities
- Concept, plan, capture, and edit still and video content that reflects brand standards for Whole Foods Market.
- Support pre-production efforts - participate in brainstorms, build shot lists, storyboards, schedules, and coordinate on-set logistics.
- Film short-form videos using mobile and professional equipment; edit and assemble short-form video content for various social platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta, ensuring alignment with WFM brand standards.
- Capture basic social-first still photography and short-form video content using mobile and professional equipment when needed to support campaign timelines.
- Refine still photography and video assets captured during productions, applying color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, and text overlays as needed.
- Transform raw footage into compelling social-first narratives that drive engagement and reflect current platform trends.
- Collaborate with Creative, Social, and cross-functional partners to turn insights and trends into compelling content - incorporating feedback and iterating quickly to meet tight deadlines.
- Optimize content for various aspect ratios, platform specifications, and campaign requirements across social and digital channels.
- Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset libraries to support efficient workflows and content repurposing.
- Stay current on social media trends, editing techniques, copywriting best practices, and platform algorithms to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Support the Creative Production team in developing style guides, templates, and editorial standards for consistent brand expression.
- Represent Creative Production professionally with vendors, on set, and in cross-team settings.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards and attention to detail.
- Utilize strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with producers, creatives, and stakeholders.
- Understand content performance metrics and adapt creative approach based on insights.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 3+ years of experience in content creation with a portfolio showcasing social-first still and video work
- Strong understanding of social media platforms - especially TikTok, Instagram, and Meta - and how to edit specifically for each platform's unique format and audience
- Experience in marketing, advertising, or creative production
- Proven track record of creating engaging social content that performs well and adapts to evolving platform trends
- Proficiency with cameras, lighting, and audio gear for both still and video capture
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar) and photo editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Experience with motion graphics, text animation, and basic visual effects
- Understanding of color grading, audio editing, and sound design to enhance storytelling quality
- Ability to direct on-screen talent and support production logistics across various shooting environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience creating content in a retail or in-store environment
- Experience with lighting, capturing, and styling food/grocery products is a plus.
- Familiarity with Whole Foods Market brand
- Marketing, advertising, or creative production experience within retail and/or consumer packaged goods industries

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
