POSITION: A tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate professor is available in the Department of Management and Leadership Programs in the College of Business. The department seeks a dynamic candidate with expertise in Management/Leadership/Organizational Behavior who is committed to teaching excellence and to maintaining an active program. Start date of the position is August 17, 2026.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in Management, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, or related area by March 30, 2027.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Evidence of successful university teaching, and success in research.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an individual who has a desire to teach in a strong Management program. Individual would teach courses in the Department of Management and Leadership Programs based on program needs and in accordance with specialization. Potential courses include leadership, people analytics, organizational behavior, and other courses as needed.

Applicants will be expected to teach courses as assigned in the Department of Management and Leadership Programs, participate in research and scholarly activities, provide professional/career advising to students as assigned, engage in service to the university and community, and participate in department, college, and university committee work. Teaching responsibilities may involve classroom, online, and/or hybrid delivery in both the undergraduate and at the MBA level.

DEPARTMENT: The Department of Management and Leadership Programs is a vibrant and cohesive group of teachers and scholars, dedicated to excellence in teaching and remaining current in their fields through scholarly activity. The department offers five majors: Management, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Entrepreneurship, and International Business. Emphases within the Management major includes Sport Management. Certificates available include a Leadership Certificate. The department serves around 500 undergraduate majors, and helps support the UW System Consortium online MBA program. The department is housed in UW - Eau Claire's AACSB accredited College of Business.
