Job description


Seeking a polished, hands-on Controller/CFO to oversee day-to-day controllership, own accounting operations, financial reporting, AP and staff supervision, and manage the IT function. You will manage the annual audit and tax/compliance engagements and prepare board presentations while supporting Finance and Audit committees. Ideal candidates are seasoned leaders stepping back from a CFO role or ambitious up-and-comers who are extremely hands-on; this is a five-day onsite position.
Requirements
  • Oversee day-to-day controllership activities
  • Own accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial close processes
  • Supervise AP, staff accountant(s), and IT Manager
  • Own financial reporting, including preparation of internal and external reports
  • Manage the IT function as it relates to finance systems and controls
  • Manage the annual audit engagement
  • Oversee tax and compliance engagements
  • Prepare board presentations and materials
  • Provide support to the Finance Committee and Audit Committee
