Intel is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team, where innovation meets world-class engineering. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis and audits of electrical systems to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  • Lead and execute complex electrical engineering projects, collaborating with design teams, construction crews, field operations, vendors, and research and development teams.
  • Develop, review, and approve electrical specifications, maintenance procedures, and standards for power supply units and battery backup systems.
  • Monitor system capacity, utilization, and performance trends, establishing virtual sensors to identify issues and implementing corrective measures.
  • Design and manage work plans for system analysis, troubleshooting, and life extension evaluations, including end-of-life replacement scopes and schedules.
  • Review equipment test results, manage preventive and reactive maintenance, and oversee condition-based assessments to determine asset health and longevity.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory and ensure availability for assigned systems and equipment.
  • Partner with electrical utility providers to enhance the quality of power supply to Intel's operations.
  • Model electrical power distribution systems, conduct breaker coordination and arc flash studies, troubleshoot system issues, and monitor load and capacity.
  • Oversee project work impacting electrical systems and ensure alignment with overall operational goals.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job, and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related specialized field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, system analysis, or facilities management with a Bachelor's degree. 3+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Knowledge in electrical equipment management, facility operations, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with breaker coordination, arc flash studies, and power distribution modeling, Switching Procedures, Medium Voltage.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards, quality assurance practices, and system capacity management.
  • Experience in sustaining operations.

  • Leadership in cross-functional engineering teams and large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in analytical skills to identify and mitigate adverse system trends effectively.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $103,730.00-198,820.00 USD
