About the Role
As an Integrations Solutions Consultant, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering integration solutions that connect Workday with internal systems, external applications, and third-party platforms. You'll work across the integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through build, test, deployment, and ongoing support. This role combines technical depth with consultative skills, requiring you to partner with clients, translate business needs into scalable technical patterns, and contribute to high-quality delivery on challenging Workday projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to gather, analyze, and document integration requirements that support business objectives.
  • Design integration solutions using Workday tools and vendor partners
  • Develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy robust integrations that ensure secure, accurate, and efficient data exchange between Workday and external systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits, financials, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, project teams, and client stakeholders throughout configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and go-live activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, mapping artifacts, and integration design specifications.
  • Support knowledge transfer and provide training or guidance to client teams to ensure sustainability after deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization or automation to enhance integration performance and reliability.
  • Maintain awareness of Workday product updates and integration best practices to incorporate improvements into client solutions.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday integrations (design, build, test, support), including hands-on experience with tools such as Core Connectors and EIBs.
  • Experience with additional Workday Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials (HCM is nice to have)
  • Familiarity with integration monitoring, error handling best practices, and data governance standards.
  • Workday Planning Integrations Certification

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday Integrations certification or related Workday credentials.
  • Familiarity with AI.
  • Prior consulting or professional services experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies and standards (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, data transformation practices).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and client-facing consultative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and timelines in dynamic project environments.
