About the Role:
ARMANTII HOME CARE SERVICES INC is looking for a compassionate and organized Intake & Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Detroit, MI. In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients and caregivers, ensuring seamless coordination of home care services. Responsibilities:
  • Manage client intake process, including gathering patient information and assessing service needs
  • Coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure proper client coverage at all times
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers regarding scheduling inquiries
  • Process new referrals and follow up on pending authorizations with insurance and case managers
  • Monitor and resolve scheduling conflicts, last-minute call-offs, and shift changes in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate client and caregiver records in the home care management system
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and referral sources to facilitate smooth onboarding
  • Contact all new referrals within 24 business hours of receiving the referral
  • Meet with prospective clients either by phone, in office and/or at the clients home. 
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in home care, healthcare scheduling, or a related administrative role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, EMR systems, or home care platforms is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, insurance authorizations, or home care regulations is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; homecare scheduling and intake
