We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a plaintiff-side personal injury practice in Phoenix, Arizona. This position focuses on guiding prospective clients through the initial intake process, establishing new case files, and helping the legal team keep matters organized from the start. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, prior experience in client intake, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment. Bilingual communication skills are highly valued for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, gathering key information with professionalism and empathy.
• Conduct intake conversations to assess new personal injury matters and capture accurate case details.
• Create and organize new legal files, ensuring documentation is complete and properly entered at opening.
• Initiate claim setup activities and coordinate required information for newly accepted cases.
• Maintain clear records of client communications, intake notes, and supporting materials for attorney review.
• Work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure new matters are routed efficiently and prepared for next steps.
• Provide timely follow-up with potential and current clients regarding requested documents or case-related information.• At least 5 years of experience in a legal support role, with a strong background in client intake.
• Prior experience supporting plaintiff-side personal injury matters.
