Our Las Vegas office is a critical part of that mission, and we're looking for a talented, experienced Legal Assistant to join our team and play a key role in delivering maximum results for our clients.


What You'll Do

You will manage cases from initial intake and filing of the Complaint through trial, working closely with attorneys and staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

· Managing and maintaining accurate case calendars, including all court deadlines, hearings, and discovery cutoffs

· Formatting, proofreading, finalizing, serving, and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, notices, and subpoenas

· Interacting with clients to gather information and provide status updates with professionalism and empathy

· Preparing retainers, record authorizations, and record requests

· Drafting and managing correspondence on behalf of attorneys

· Organizing and maintaining all case-related documents and files

· Keeping case data current in the firm's case management system

· Providing comprehensive litigation support to attorneys across all stages of a case

· Scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics as needed

Requirements:

What We're Looking For


· 3+ years of legal assistant experience in Nevada plaintiff's litigation

· Strong working knowledge of the Nevada and Federal Civil Procedure and local court rules

· Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload from intake through trial

· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

· Please ensure that litigation experience is clearly reflected in your resume


Preferred:

· Spanish-speaking

· Experience with Litify and/or Milana case management software
