We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our firm's estate plan team. Responsibilities
• Draft and review legal documents, including trusts, deeds, wills, and powers of attorney, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Foster strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact between estate plan clients and the firm
• Coordinate initial client meetings and serve as the firm's main intake specialist
• Maintain organized and up-to-date client files in both Smokeball and WealthCounsel
• Conduct legal research to support document preparation and provide insights to the legal team
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of all assignments
• Collaborate with the estate planning team to develop strategies and solutions tailored to client needs and goals
Qualifications
• Illinois notary license a plus
• 2 or more years of law office experience
