Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Secretary performs duties directly involved in maintaining a smooth flow of communications between the director's office, physicians, patients, families and outside agencies and hospital services.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced secretarial skills, including typing, patient scheduling and knowledge of insurance

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Per Diem
  • Day
  • One Saturday a month

Essential Functions:

  • Schedules patients
  • Answers phones
  • Checks insurance coverage and collection of co-pay
