Job Responsibilities

    35% Sales Production: Responsible for generating and managing leads from start to finish to effectively close sales and meet overall monthly and annual enrollment goals. Provide complete policy reviews and underwriting assessments to offer product solutions appropriate to the customer’s needs. Educate and actively sell relevant Medicare insurance products and services during all appropriate interactions.

    30% Retention: Responsible for maintaining relationships and ensuring renewal of a book of business. Responsible for proactively engaging with each enrollee throughout the year to ensure they are properly covered. Responsible for annual review of each enrollment and counseling on any adjustments recommended based on the new year’s policy offerings and client needs. Expected to proactively work cases for customers to provide suitable resolution and prevent customers from shopping and/or canceling. Responsible for ensuring continued satisfaction for all clients to create promoters of AAA Medicare.

    20% Customers Helped: Responsible for handling fair share of work across all disciplines including but not limited to inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, and events. Expected to be available during working hours to handle communication through all channels in a timely manner. Held accountable to taking a fair distribution of appointments, including travel to other locations as needed.

    15% Quality: Expected to utilize Medicare and AAA systems and follow all AAA and government established policies and guidelines to manage and respond to inquiries through required workflow. Serve as a liaison with the insurance carrier(s) to ensure timely underwriting of policies and maintain current knowledge of the insurance carriers’ underwriting guidelines. Maintain a current understanding of relevant policies and procedures as it pertains to Medicare policies, Social Security and ongoing developments/changes to industry regulations. Participate in training and testing programs as required.

    Job Specific Requirements
    • Responsible to maintain the required license or certification in an active status
    • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history required for periodic travel throughout Club territory
    • Able to display working knowledge of carrier offerings, processes, and requirements
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, & events as required by business need/Leadership directive
    • Working knowledge of computer software and ability to effectively navigate multiple system
    • Ability to operate independently and display proficiency in minimization of errors & problem solving
    • Must be able to resolve problems, navigate periods of high volume, & work under pressure to diffuse member concerns
    • Ability to multitask in various areas of insurance sales and service
          Physical Requirements
          • Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
          • Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
          • Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs

          Starting rate: $23.00-$25.00 per hour.
