Overview

Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for prospecting existing and new clients remotely and managing the entire sales cycle from within a designated Paychex inside sales hub. the inside sales representative engages with customers via phone, email, and other virtual channels, to effectively close deals and meet sales targets.


Responsibilities
  • Execute outbound warm calls and activities with existing and new clients to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Follow up on partnership referrals and strategizing account targeting, to ensure a continuous flow of potential clients ready for the sales process
  • Conduct client meetings to analyze needs and develop targeted sales presentations and demos that address specific client requirements
  • Address objections by clarifying concerns and reinforcing solution benefits, utilizing closing techniques to secure commitments and finalize agreements
  • Inputting and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the crm system to manage the sales pipeline effectively
  • Maintain a proactive prospecting cadence and follow up consistently to nurture and expand the sales pipeline
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and ensure accountability for meeting individual KPIs
  • Projecting a positive image in representing Paychex to clients and the community
  • Continually sharpen technical, competitive and sales skills knowledge to effectively represent the inside sales organization
  • May be required to travel for purposes of attending conference, training sessions and/or area regional or national meetings

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Inside or Outside Business to Business Sales.
  • 2 years of experience in Digital Media, Health Insurance, HR Services, Retail, Hospitality, Recruitment, Financial Services, Insurance, Marketing, Automotive, Information Technology, Professional Services and/or Information Technology.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the compensation range for this position is typically $55,000 - $140,000. This range includes BOTH base pay plus commissions but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
